A Southside Tragedy
August 11, 2009 - A 9 year old boy was crushed by machinery operated by his father this morning. The Association of Block Clubs urges community residents to be extra careful of children playing in the area. Don't assume young people are being supervised. If you feel children need to be monitored, don't be apprehensive about asking parents will they need assistance with supervision. Parents be aware of what friends your child is visiting and the areas in which they are playing. Always ensure that a trusted adult is near by because cell phones are not always reliable.
